Claire joined HCT in November 2014 from Nacro, the UK’s largest national crime reduction charity, where she was the service manager of a flagship helpline.     

Prior to that, she worked as an Assistant Director for School-Home Support, a national children’s charity that supports vulnerable children and young people, working with them and their families to help overcome the barriers that are preventing them from being in school, ready to learn. This built on eight years of increasingly senior roles at Catch22, another national crime reduction charity working with the most disadvantaged and vulnerable young people in our society, with her final 5 years in Hackney leading a pupil referral unit and youth inclusion project.

Claire’s passion for working with, supporting and enabling people brought her to the role of Head of Community Transport and Stakeholder Engagement.


Pamela Mooroogan

Community Transport Manager

Pamela joined HCT in 2004 as Transport Coordination Centre Supervisor. She progressed on to Transport Coordination Centre Manager, and was responsible for the day to day operations of TCC and it’s services, as well as leading the team. In 2016, her passion and drive led her to commence the role of Community Transport Manager.

Within this role, Pamela oversees Group Transport in Hackney, Haringey, Camden, Islington, Lambeth and Southwark; as well as managing the operational team, supporting drivers, our fleet, training, and implementing new policies and procedures. She has built up an array of knowledge and skills, as well as an excellent understanding of community transport and the service users.


Peter Godsall

Quality and Training Co-ordinator

With over 30 years’ experience in many different roles at HCT, Peter joined HCT as a volunteer, then became Mobility Officer, leading to Client Services Manager. Peter comes with a wealth of knowledge both locally and organisationally.

Since 2009, with his passion to deliver quality training to those wanting to drive a mini-bus, Peter has focused on delivering MiDAS training to the national standard; in 2014, Peter’s role expanded to support staff driver quality standards to match the growth in our with-driver provision.


Baljeet Panesar

Finance & Administration Officer

Baljeet joined HCT as a part time /job share group transport administrator in1987.Eight years later, in 1995, once her family had grown up, she went on to work full time leading on the furniture recycling together with group transport.

For the next 13 years, Baljeet continued to learn and develop, whilst being an integral person in the success of HCT.

In 2008, Baljeet was successful in moving into her current role, as part time Finance & Administration officer.
